BEST non-toxic nail polish
In Short: If you have allergies to nail polish THIS IS FOR YOU. It takes a few coats, but it's so nice to be able to have your nails painted.
---Three years ago I gave myself a nail polish allergy trying to do my own gel nails at home. I get extreme blisters and itching with all nail polishes now- even the 10 free vegan types- that will last months after the polish is removed. Even glue for fake nails gives me this same allergic reaction. I love having my nails done and have been SO sad I haven't been able to have my nails done.
After my fingers finally healed I decided to continue my search for something, ANYTHING, to put on my nails when I stumbled upon Honeybee Gardens. I bought the blue Forget Me Not color and I get NO allergic reaction and my heart is SO HAPPY.
It's water based so it requires a few coats to cover the streaks but it's so nice to be able to have my nails done. It DOES chip easily, BUT I haven't put a top coat on so that's on me. Now that I know I don't get allergic reactions with this, I'm currently ordering the top coat, the remover and more colors!

WaterColors Nail Enamel
I purchased the colors Legacy, which is a med-rose color matte. I love the color; this color looks great as a matte. I also purchased the forget-me-not blue color. The forget-me- not is a true baby blue color, and definitely needs 2 applications. I wish it had a shimmer to it. Overall I am happy with my purchase and the durability of the nail polish.
Fantastic polish!
Due to health issues, I've given up using traditional nail polishes both because of all of their harsh chemicals and due to their intolerable odors. But I'm SO HAPPY to be able to have beautiful nail color again without those concerns! This watercolor polish (when used with their base & top coat) lasts 9+ days on my nails without chipping and that's really incredible! Also, I love the color selection. Tuscany is especially gorgeous!

Long-lasting and Gorgeous
I have been using various water-based nail polishes for a couple months. Previously purchased the Wisteria from Amazon (also very pretty), but saw Tuscany here on the HoneyBee website. It's shiny, purplish-pink, like a seashell at its best. Even my fiance who rarely notices my nails said they look pretty. Somehow, it's not too flashy or gaudy. If you're choosing a color you can wear every day or for special occasion, this is the one. And it lasts and lasts. One tiny chip after a week on my dominant hand that gets more washing up scrubbing action.

Truly Natural & Beautiful!
I love this stuff! I'm very sensitive to citric acid and its derivatives, so this was literally the ONLY nail polish I could find that is safe for me - and it's great! I don't have a huge frame of reference, but the nail enamel is easy to use, and it looks beautiful! I would love it if there were more color options, but aside from that, I'm happy. I especially love the sparkly ones, and it's nice that they always include instructions with the purchase.
Nail Enamels
I am very impressed with both the quality and choices of lovely up-to-date color choices. I have tried other brands of water based nail polishes before. I have never found one as good as Honey Bee Gardens. I am currently wearing Wisteria. I followed the procedures on each bottle (7 thin layers total) and have been pleasantly surprised at how long the polish stays on. I put the Wisteria on 5 days ago, and it is still very presentable. The staying power is a game changer for me. I have found my go to nail products!
Perfect safe formula, long wear, beautiful colors
I got the colors Storm, Victorian Lace, Vintage Merlot, Fairy Dust, Legacy, and Wildfire.
I want to give an honest and thorough review because I did a lot of research before purchasing from Honeybee Gardens and found that reviews on other blogs were very lacking. I want to share the information I wanted and hope that it helps someone else. The short version is that the nail enamel has a wonderful formula with no smell, beautiful colors, applies smoothly, and has long wear. This is my favorite nontoxic nail polish and use this brand primarily.
The colors are STUNNING and are true to the bottle. Depending on the shade, there will be a bit of unevenness on the first coat, but that is normal for most formulas, though most colors reached near full opacity on coat 1. That is evened out on the second coat for all of the colors that I got. The enamel dries with a slight sheen and is opaque.
Application is a little different than what most people would be used to if they are coming from conventional laquers. The formula is a little more on the runnier side, but it is comparable to other water based formulas. Even though it is runnier than the conventional stuff, this formula is still thick enough to feel smooth and provide great coverage. They also dry touch pretty quickly. I did try using a blow drier between coats which some may like to ensure that it dries and harden a little faster.
The brush is a straight, thin, long brush. I was used to painting with a wide, round brush, so this took a little getting used to, but it applies and carries the product very well. It was easy to spread the enamel across the nail plate with ease and does not cause as much flooding or accidental cuticle or skin application as with other brushes.
The enamels tend to last for at least a week when used with the base/top coat. I am not gentle with my hands or manicures (i do housework without gloves, i do crafts, wash my hands a lot etc). The tips will have some wear. I did not notice significant chipping. I have been very excited to use these colors that I have been changing them out after a week, which is why I said at least a week because I suspect that they can last a little longer if you want them to. If you use the enamels without it, I noticed that they lasted at least three days before chipping started to occur. So for anyone who says that the polish doesn't last very long, I wonder if they are using the base/top coat.
I have not used nail polish for a long time due to the smell and toxicity of the ingredients. Honeybee Garen delivers in having a great product that is body, earth, and animal friendly. I love that I do not have to sacrifice my ethics for a fun nail enamel.
Removal is easy with the remover that is designed for water-based polish. Other means will be much more difficult. I find it easier to remove if I apply a little on the nail enamel and let it sit for a minute and then scrub off. My nails have NO staining whatsoever. My nails are stronger and growing faster and smoother after using the product.
My only complaint is that I wish there were pictures with swatches so that it would be easier to imagine what the colors would look like on someone, but rest assured I am not disappointed with the colors. I'm very happy with the colors and their performance. I highly recommend you try these.

I really love honeybee gardens nail polish. There isn't a bad smell at all and I don't get a headache while applying.

I left a review previously when I bought my first bottle of nail polish, but I recently purchased two more bottles. I had taken a bit of a break from painting my nails and was wearing a lot of press ons simply because of convenience. It ended up damaging my nails significantly and I turned to healing my nails and have been using this product and my nails are significantly happier!!!! This nail polish lasts sooo long and is chip resistant. I love not having to worry about my nails and that this nail polish is so kind to them. Love all three colors and they are extremely accurate to the provided photos. Will continue to buy and use these polishes and they are the only thing I will be wearing on my nails!

I have tried all of the "long lasting" nail polish brands and honeybee gardens blows them all away. I'm rough on my nails and these polishes last for a whole week. I'm a honeybee gardens fan for life.
BEYOND IMPRESSED
I ordered the kit and a few extra nail polishes after switching to mainly non tosic cosmetics. I wasnt sure how these would work, as I have trouble with regular nail polishes staying on. I have been so so impressed. All the polishes I have are so opaque and dont chip as fast as regular polishes.. I just make sure to put the clear coat on before and after. I have only bought polishes from here since then and will only buy polishes from here from here on out.
Passed expectations!!!!
I purchased a bottle of nail polish in the shade vintage merlot and I am beyond impressed. I followed the provided instructions including using the sealer. I was going to wait a week to see how it held up before reviewing it but I went into work today (I'm a bartender and it is extremely harsh and hard on nails and I haven't had a nail polish that lasted) but my nails aren't chipped or scratched. The color is amazing and the sanitizer water and repeated hand washing had none of the effects they've had on other nail polishes. I will definitely be purchasing again. I've always hated how nail polish smells as I'm sensitive to smells but this was literally perfect. I'm officially obsessed!!!

I love this nail polish. I have quite a few colors and they all wear well. The coat is great without having to re-apply multiple coats. I will keep buying this nail polish in my favorite colors and new colors that I like.
Water-based nail polish
Love your nail polish! I have a lot of sensitivities and can't use regular nail polish, and I bought Gelmoment almost 2 years ago and developed a sensitivity to that... so I'm back using your nail polish and I'm so excited I did! Because of your base/top coat the polish is lasting at least a week with minor chipping on the tips. Very excited!

I love the fact that they are less toxic than most. The polish goes on smoothly but I find that the polish doesn't last long on my nails, otherwise love them and the colors.
I don't recommend the Whisper "color"
I bought the Whisper color. It wasn't at all what I had my heart set on. I wanted something pale, but not this pale! I applied 4 coats and it still looked like a clear nail polish...no color whatsoever.

Water Colors Nail Enamel
I ordered shades “ Destiny & Victorian Lace.” The shade “ Destiny,” is metallic, frost, pink- beige, nude, and pretty. The shade “ Victorian Lace,” is darker than it appears..... more smokey purple-taupe pink-mauve than pinky- mauve than it looks. It is still a nice shade though!!!! The formula actually stays on decently long in comparison to other nail polishes and other non- clean nail polish brands but is a bit hard to remove with the gel nail remover. Why? Well, because it takes several coats of the remover and lots of rubbing with a textured cloth to remove it, but it’s definitely easier than removing acrylic fake nails with acetone nail polish remover if you have ever tried that you know how hard and time consuming that is. So, this is easier than that and not toxic which is alot better for your nails.
Water Colors Nail Enamel Gift Set
I ordered the gift set with the buffer, endure base & top coat, cuticle oil, gel nail polish remover & shades “ Destiny & also the shade Victorian Lace.” I have heard mixed reviews on clean nail polish products & on HoneyBee Garden’s as well,-so I thought the set was a good way to go,- to try out the products. I loved the shade
“ Destiny,” a metallic nude-pink-beige shade. I found “ Victorian Lace,” to end up looking more darker than its neutral-pink mauve shade that it appeared in the swatch & more sort of mauve-pink & purple, smokey & taupe. The removal process was a bit harder than expected.... when I used the gel nail polish remover it took several tries and coats to remove the nail polish even with a textured cloth and not allowing it to dry up? Like, “ several coats,” & alot if effort, that is the only thing I do not like about this type of product. So, the product is a bit hard to remove but the nail polish staying power is really great and nice that it is a clean, & safe beauty product. So, the good far out weighs the bad here. I probably will at some point order some more shades, the only thing is I don’t think I’d want to paint my toenails with this product, if I am planning to change up the polish shades quickly on my toes with how much effort it takes to rub it off. However, I do tend to leave my toenail polish on a lot longer than my fingernails.
Color not as expected
I ordered the Victorian lace and after two coats it looks more like a purple. The polish does have more of a shine than other water based polishes.
Extender lasts so long.
I bought the gift pack with the color fairy dust. I love the sparkle.
After a week I wanted to do a fresh coat because I had the tiniest chip on my thumb and I knew I'd pick at it. I was impressed at how difficult to was to remove.
I'd used 2 coats of the extender on top because the instructions made it seem too easy and it is a thin liquid. Now I know one coat and just let the tiny chip be. It took some seriously scrubbing to get it off with the gel remover.
I want all the colors. Very happy.

I just wrote a long review under the combo set of clear and remover, but it all applies to the colors too!!! My fave! Effective, safe, attractive, I've been using it for years and I'm always telling other people about it. Try it!! I hope you'll love it like I do!!
For me, this was not it
I purchased the Endure 2-in-1 base/top coat, and used it as directed. The enamel colours I bought were Forget Me Not and Wisteria. This was my first foray into nail polish, but I've since tried many other brands (none of them water-based, however). My problem was that the enamel remained soft even after having babied the nails for 12 hours. You can scrape it off easily with a fingernail. This doesn't work for me as I do my own cooking and cleaning every day, etc. The texture of the polish (after it has set) is comparable to acrylic paint, if you are familiar. On the other hand, it is not brittle so it's not as prone to chipping at the tip. Personally, I'll be sticking to non-water-based enamel in the future. RESPONSE: thanks for trying the product. I'm sorry it wasn't for you.
No smell
Love that it has no smell. Colors I bought are nice. BUT - it does not last. Too expensive to have to redo every couple of days.

I like Hippie chick polish. It goes on smooth. I don’t like Twice Shy. Doesn’t go on smooth it streaks. Raspberry Sorbet shows through. Have to put on 3 coats to cover.

As with all water based it dries within seconds and this brand in particular looks amazing with just one coat (with other brands I usually needed 3). For people who like to have their nail polish on for long periods I would recommend using their bottom and top coat. For me I like to wear nail polish like make up, I wear it only for the day and evening. To take it off its very easy, only need to soak in warm/hot water and they will be easy to peel off, its truly amazing and a blessing as it really dont like using remover. Im extremely sensitive to smell (I get migraines very easily) and this only barely smells anything, it’s perfect! But honestly the best things about these nail polishes are the colors, the colors are so beautiful! You will see!! :)

I really need it for my toe nails..I have to toe nails that are discolored and I feel self conscious when I wear opened toed shoes. WaterColors Nail Enamel
Excellent product, especially for people who are sensitive to the chemicals in conventional nail polish. Beautiful colors that last (if you swim or take long baths, it might peel off, but otherwise it lasts). If you prefer not to use nail polish remover, it can be peeled off after soaking for a few minutes. I trusted this product when my daughter was a toddler and I've been using it myself since then.
Beautifully Natural - Colors To Rely On
I became a customer of Honeybee Gardens after the positive experience of finding just what I was looking for; Naturally beautiful colors I can rely on wearing. I was tired of the overpowering smell of store-bought chemicals. They may have looked pretty, but were by no means healthy. Neither were those removers.
These polishes on the other hand are stunning and smooth to apply, have little-to-no scent, and a much smaller list of ingredients. My current colors are Fairy Dust, Mocha Latte, and Once Bitten. The gloss is even beautiful, as is. I love them all and look forward to adding to the collection within time!
My Only Nail Polish
HG's nail polishes are my only go-to ones. I never buy ones from stores or anywhere else. Only HG, and for good reasons! They're all-natural and handmade, they're non-toxic, they look great and feel great, they last longer than the toxic stuff, and there are many colors to choose from. I recommend pairing these with the Endure--it adds further protection.

Came back for more!
Such a dream to finally find long-lasting nail polish. Give it a day or two to fully set and then it's surprisingly durable. I started with the trio gift set and quickly ordered more colors. The primer/sealer dries really quickly and although it is difficult to remove (I find my toenail clipper file helpful in scraping it off), I love being able to wear nail polish that actually lasts without toxic ingredients.

Disappointed
I really wanted to love this product and judging by the other reviews I am treading lightly because I feel like I may be missing something. I tried the She Said Yes color and although it went on quite easily - didn't run, wasn't too thick etc. It was very streaky even with 2 coats and the finish looks like the old school liquid white out with a slight shade of pink. I take no issue with the shade but the completely flat and streaky finish is truly not what I was expecting. The durability of this product is not an issue as I won't be keeping it on long enough for it to matter. I guess chemistry still has a long way to go to offer a decent product.

This is the first time I am trying all natural nail polish from Honeybee Gardens. I have to say it is amazing! The colors are lovely and very long lasting with two coats. So far I have used the Fairy Dust and now I cannot wait to try the other colors that I bought! I am glad there is such a great company that is animal friendly. I am a big fan of Honeybee Gardens' eyeliner, and they were running a special deal when you spent a certain amount of money so I thought I would abandon my usual brand of natural nail polish and try theirs. I am hooked! This is the BEST natural nail polish I have ever used. It goes on super easy, doesn't like to chip, looks amazing, and is easy to get off once it does start breaking down. I absolutely think it's the bees knees!

WaterColors Nail Enamel
First, Honeybee's customer service is phenomenal! I have been wearing WaterColors on my toes for years. In addition to it being much healthier for the planet and for me, they go on smoothly and are remarkably long-wearing. There is no odor whatsoever, and they do not yellow or dry my nails. Even the shades I've had for a long time are easily revived with a drop of water. Product descriptions indicate whether the shades are matte, iridescent, or shimmery; I've found those to be accurate. These are lovely!
Lovely color choices
I have been using Honeybee Gardens nail products for about 6 months. I was interested because they are nontoxic. I found that if the instructions are followed exactly the polish wears well, and as an added bonus, they can be easily touched up. Before Covid I was going to a salon for gel nails; but at age 69 I don't want to risk exposure. So glad I found this wonderful line of products.

I absolutely love Honeybee Gardens's Watercolors Nail Enamels! I have always admired polished nails on a lady, and wore nail polish myself. However, many years ago I made the decision to forfeit wearing polish because it caused my nails to turn yellow and flake. BEST nail polish
This nail polish is great! The top coat is definitely needed if you want it to stay on your nails longer. I have 4 different colors and I do plan to keep adding to my collection. The top coat makes the colors even more vibrant! I do have a difficult time removing the nail polish, even with the nail polish remover. But to avoid toxic chemicals, it’s worth it. I will never go back to regular nail polish after using this.

This color was hard to determine by the website photos whether it was on the paler or darker side of pink so I rolled the dice and gambled. It’s much hotter if a pink than I hoped for. I wanted a lighter baby pink. It’s bubble gum bordering on hot pink. I’ll wear it though and hope it grows on me. I’ll be ordering She Said Yes and hope that’s the color I hoped for

This color surprised me, I thought it would be more of a red/ black color from the photos but when I put it on it was truly a beautiful deep red wine color. It’s really lovely and definitely deserves the name vintage merlot! Makes me want to have a glass of my favorite red and say cheers!

After a breast cancer scare two years ago, I’ve gradually changed all of my personal care items over to non-toxic products. Nail polish was (I think) the last thing to change (I pretty much just stopped painting my nails at all and have really missed it). I am highly chemically sensitive. The strong odors of regular nail polishes make me very sick. This is the fist nail polish that I can tolerate. It is essentially odorless, the colors are beautiful. I only wear nail polish occasionally, so even though it is not as durable as the strong chemical nail polishes, I don't care. I am just so grateful that I can wear something that is not toxic. Best nail polish ever... life saving
I am a severe asthmatic so the harmful chemicals and odors in regular nail polish will trigger an attack. This nail polish goes on smooth, dries quick, and hardly has a smell. Safe for my lungs and the environment!

Long Lasting Wear
The watercolors nail enamel really wears well. The directions recommend changing your polish in about a week due to the holding power...this is true. Use the Honeybee Gardens nail polish remover, and be patient. This polish covers really well, wears well, and is not a health risk. My husband didn't even know I did my nails because there is no odor!

I was pretty confident in purchasing some nail products from this company because their reviews are good and they prove to have very little to no toxins in their nail products. The only thing I have to say thus far is the smell isn't completely odorless, but it's definitely better than regular nail polish. I also find myself having to apply 3 coats rather than 2 as it looks a little streaky. I've had it on my toes for over a week and no chipping yet. Just painted my finger nails and used the primer along with it.
Great water based nail polish.
I own many brands of water based nail polish, and this one is pretty great! I have only tried the color in Tuscany so far, and the color is beautiful! It does not go on sheer like most water based nail polish. The first coat is the full color. I only apply a second layer because the the instructions say to, but it looks beautiful on your nails by the first coat! If you are new to water based nail polish, make sure you follow the directions they give you, it will make your polish stay on beautifully. I can’t wait to try all the other colors!
Glad I switched
I recently decided to switch to natural nail polish. I was a bit hesitant at first to continue using the product because it did not last on my toes as long as I'd hoped. I made a few adjustments to my routine and was willing to continue to use the product with fewer reservations. However, with the introduction of the primer and after using it, I was completely sold. I can now comfortably toss my old nail polish collection and will continue to use this polish. With the primer and using the gel nail remover, I've had no major issues and my toes are happy. My favorite color is wildfire :-). Thanks for a great product.

Good product
Lasted 3 weeks on toes. Hard to get off with just trying to use paper towel. Works best to get off to scuff top and then put nail polish remover on cotton bottom and wrap on with foil to let soak. Came right off after soaking for a couple minutes.

I have a lot of sensitivities and allergies to any type of chemicals. The smell of a regular nail polish is very toxic and makes me feel ill. Even tho this nail polish may not wear as well as some, It is worth it to me to avoid the negatives of regular nail polishes . I love the color destiny!! (p.s. you can also buy the primer/sealer to make the finish last longer.)
Wow, very surprised!
I tried this polish years ago without the topcoat or following directions correctly and it didn't last. This time I chose to buy the color and the primer/sealer. and follow the exact instructions. It is magic. I have never been able to keep polish on my nails without it chipping after a day. I am now on day 3 with no chipping on my fingers and toes. I have washed my hands plenty and also washed my hair, which is when chipping really kicks in for me with traditional polish. This is lasting like expensive gel or shellac polish. I fully expect a week's worth of wear out of this. I am so confident in this product, that I chose to write this review early, because it would have chipped on me by now, if it was going to. I can finally wear polish again! I chose the Boysenberry color. It is a very dark, brown based purple, but the brown isn't obvious. It's definitely purple, the base just makes it a very neutral and wearable purple. In very dark lighting it could look almost black, but in proper, strong lighting, it is such a beautiful muted purple. I plan on trying more colors like Fairy Dust, Sweater Weather, and Vintage Merlot soon. This is the only polish I will ever wear again, plus it is extremely low toxic. Yay! In conclusion, I 100% recommend buying the primer/sealer that goes with the color. Yes, it is an extra product to purchase, but it is so worth it. I really wish I had purchased it the first time I tried this polish.
The Best Nail Polish!
I just tried out this nail polish a few days ago, and I love it! I absolutely love that it does not have the normal nail polish smell and no chemicals. I got 'Surf's Up', and it's a beautiful green/blue color with a little shimmer. I was a little hesitant to try this nail polish because it's a bit pricey, but it's been totally worth it! The best nail polish I've used.

Love this polish
Love that I found a polish without all the smell and chemicals. I normally only polish my toes, but put it on my thumb nail to test the durability. It is outwearing any other brand and it has no top coat on it. Love this product
Watercolors nail polish
I love this stuff. No smell, low to no toxicity, drys quickly, wears fantastic with the new primer/sealer. I recently bought sweater weather and Victorian lace and the colours are just beautiful!
Water Colors are the only nail polish for me
I only recently tried Water Colors for the first time. I have gone through so many brands of nail polish, including some other vegan brands like Londontown and LVX, and I have had allergic reactions to all of them... except for Water Colors. This is the only brand gentle enough so that my skin will tolerate it, and now, combined with the Endure Primer/ Sealer, these colors are actually lasting for me, too! I would love to see more color selection over time (I especially like green nail polishes, which aren't here yet), but for quality and comfort, these are the best!!!
Fairy Dust Polish

I wasnt prepared for the degree of iridescence despite the description which indeed did indicate iridescence and shimmer. I wont wear it because of that. I wish that there were more selections in matte, particularly, pale shades.

Light purple mauve with a shimmer! I can’t beliebe I found an exact match to the toxic polish I wore for years but couldn’t give up. This is never not on my toes and I get so many compliments. Goes great with my tan blonde complexion and wears so well considering it’s mot bad for you. Easy to get off too, with vodka if that’s all you have, or even just flaking it off when ready. The ONLY nail polish I'll use!
This nail polish is amazing! My nails are fairly brittle, so I have to be careful what I use on them. Any other nail polishes I've tried have wrecked my nails, but the Honeybee Gardens nail polishes are gentle enough that I can use them! I love getting to wear nail polish again and still have long nails! Plus the colors are absolutely beautiful, and long-lasting! I've found that the way to get them to last the longest is to apply a base coat, let it dry, apply 1-2 coats of color, letting dry between coats, and finally a top coat, and then letting the nails cure overnight. I highly recommend these nail polishes!

Best for Healthy Nails
I've used this polish for a few years and my nails seem healthier, compared to using other brands (Sally Hansen, Revlon and OPI). Others may not have problems with those brands but I do so this brand is my choice.
Beautiful Polish
I love the color of the polish. There is basically no scent and I’m happy I can paint my nails without fumes. Touch up is amazing. The polish settles so well into any chips that you can’t even tell that you applied any touch up!!!
the best nail polish
I found your company in my search to get away from the smelly toxic acetone manicure stuff. I ordered two bottles of nail polish. I love this polish ! Both colors are really nice (the photos on the site are accurate). It goes on very smoothly and neatly, with no odor at all and dries extremely fast - no delayed curing time, so no more accidental marring of the polish after you thought it was dry - a problem I always had with most other polishes. It comes off easily with rubbing alcohol. I'll probably get a bottle of the proper polish remover as in the long run it'll probably be worth it.
I thought I'd probably have to compromise on some good qualities going to the non toxic natural products, but in fact this product is far better in every way to the big name manufacturers (including the high end ones), and the price is reasonable for the quality. I definitely recommend this product, and I'll be shopping here again. Also - I love the donations to the animals.

Peace of Mind
We found out about this nail polish about 2 years ago. We have a daughter with a severe allergy to synthetic dyes. This means anything she ingests or anything that is put on her body can cause a reaction that requires her Epi Pen. These nail polish allow her to feel girlie and not worry about it making her sick. No smell mail polish
Have just used for first time...love colour,easy to apply, quick drying,three costs needed for absolute coverage I was happy with two. I am kindergarten teacher so the week will let me know how it lasts.
Chipped off
I really do like the other Honeybee Gardens products I have gotten. That's why I was disappointed about the nail polish. I used 2 coats of the clear base/top coat alone and it started chipping off immediately. Then I used the Victorian Rose, which is a lovely color, with a different base & top coat and it chipped a little after 2 days. Better than the clear, but even with 2 coats, it looks a little streaky and thin. I will continue to buy the other H.G. products that I love!
Beautiful Color
This polish has rich, beautiful colors that goes on very easily and smoothly. I appreciate the lack of fumes when painting my nails and like that I can feel safe letting my daughter use it. Unfortunately the wear time is short. Even with a good top coat, I was able to wear this less than 24 hours before it started peeling off.
Durability
After 8 hrs it chips taking a bath. I haven't reach to have it on for 24 hrs without re applying.
Miracle, No Smell Polish
When you open a bottle of WaterColors Nail Enamel, it's hard to believe there’s NO smell, at ALL, or toxic fumes wafting up your nose.
If like me, you are super sensitive to the usual nasty odor and fumes, HoneyBee is nothing short of a miracle.
I bought Destiny and Clear Coat plus the remover. I am very pleased with this nail color. Clear Coat is milky in bottle but quickly dries clear. Both last well and are easy to remove.
Only real disappointment was the remover. It DOES have that typical remover smell, although to be fair, a tad less. To that end, when compared to any OTC sensitive remover brand, then HoneyBee is expensive for half the amount with a similar odor. To be clear, I'd gladly pay twice the amount for a product that had no smell at all.
I must add that Melissa Buckley President/CEO of Honeybee Gardens, Inc., is to be applauded for her incredible and caring Customer Service and her efforts to personally reply and explain the situation of the nail polish remover, which I erroneously thought had no smell.
Melissa explained it in detail. They had to change their original scent-free nail polish remover formulation to comply with California's requirements for products sold there. Makes no sense (or should I say, scents) to me but HoneyBee is not at fault here. When I consider the endless amount of much worse toxic things that go unchecked it makes me angry, air fresheners for one, the new cigarette smoke, forced into our lungs!
Melissa gave me a tip that their nail polish could actually be removed with vodka. I was really impressed with her generosity.
Not sure if HoneyBee will post my long and rambling review and I understand if they don’t.
Bottom line, THANK YOU for your great nail polishes and hope one day you'll be able to offer your original nail polish remover formulation again.

Vintage merlot and clear water colors
I’m very impressed with these nail polishes! They are completely non-toxic and they may stay on long time depending on the things you do. For example vintage merlot in my toe nails stayed for a week and then I only had to retouch and redo two toe nails for the whole second week! It’s so much better then no nail polish at all! I’m so happy I found this brand! It didn’t stay long on my nails on my hands due to me doing a lot of stuff with water, so it was only one day. But if you have to look nice for an event then these nail polishes will be perfect!
Clean polish that goes on smooth.
Works great! Goes on smooth and I didn't notice any smell! Makes me feel so much better using this, especially when I'm pregnant! I haven't tried to get it off yet, but I've had it on my toenails for 5 days and it still looks great!
Whisper
The whisper pink is more sheer to clear with a hint of pink (although I only applied two coats). It makes your nails look healthy and has good staying power. In addition to using it on its own for a natural look, I'm going to try using it with the eye shadow colors as mentioned in the tips. :o)
Very thin
If you are used to the texture of traditional nail polish, this will seem very thin to you. It goes on great, chips off of the tips less than traditional polish and when I tried to remove it, the alcohol did nothing, I had to use traditional nail polish remover.
The Best if you want non-toxic
This nail polish has absolutely NO smell. I only use it on my toenails and it lasts a long time. Not so easy to get off, but I'd rather have non-toxic polish and put in a little more effort. My favorite color is Mocha Latte, it's more like a metallic pink.
Non Toxic Nail Polish
I haven't used this but once or twice and really like it! It did chip after a few days but I am very rough on my hands, and the fact it is non toxic...I can live with that!

I had acrylic nails in the 80's and developed an allergy to acrylic...so no acrylic nails, no polish...not even superglue for press on nails. I finally stopped biting my nails and they grew out nicely. I thought I would try your polish. Three weeks and no itching or rash! Takes a lot to chip it, too! And if it does chip, I just polish the bare spot and it is as good as new! Also, alcohol takes it off! Thanks for polish that I can wear!

Great natural nail polish
Best with a clear coat, a couple coats of color. I now have 2 colors with the clear and love them! Almost no odor. Great for my toes. I wash my hands too much for a natural polish to last very long.

Color doesn't match
I'm excited to use non-toxic polish. I ordered San Francisco because it looked nice online. The actual color is more of an apricot/peach color. It's just too orange for me. I'm using it anyway because it cost so much, but I will order a different color and see how it goes.

Pleasantly surprised
I recently threw out all of my chemical-laden nail polish when I decided to purchase HoneyBeeGardens nail polish and give them a try. The polish arrived yesterday and Wow! First thing I noticed was a super smooth application and then to my surprise NO bad smell! The polish dried really fast and my nails look beautiful. I quickly ordered two more colors :)

I love this color for summer! It's my "go to" polish. Since I love water-based nail polish, I keep coming back to this particular shade because of its consistency. Not too thin or too thick. With proper application, the polish last over two weeks on my toes. Highly recommended!

I did not know that there was a better polish without all the chemicals that put me into bad allergic reactions. The BAD polish would cause my face to swell like a puffer fish and then I would have skin rashes for two weeks so I would go into hiding. Also I used alcohol to remove which I am not allergic to.
So happy to have pretty nails again and not worry about the side effects of the harsh chemicals.
The only downside is that I have busy hands and the polish without the top 5 chemicals did not stay put more than two days. Except for my toenails. They have lasted almost a week. Still good for wearing on special occassions.

I feel good about using a nail polish as clean as possible and this Oasis blue is really pretty and would work for any season. I like to keep the polish on my toes for at least 2 weeks and it is a bit difficult to remove after that time. So, 4 stars, but it is so worth it!

Really like it
This is really nice, odorless polish. I ordered the mocha which doesn't have much color to it and it has a pearl like finish which I normally don't wear but I will reorder this again. The color is very light and neutral and it's been a week (2 coats) and no chips -- or at least with the color it is hard to see.
Next I'll try the Merlot color -- great product.

It covers we'll and holds up fairly well. I do a lot of work outdoors and also retrain rogue horses, so my hands take a beating.This polish, with two thin costs has held up very well. It also has kept my nails from breaking. I just wish I had ordered the remover when I ordered the polish.

I have used these polishes for years now and have many of the colors. They are wonderful and absolutely no odor. I use rubbing alcohol and a little scrubbie to remove. I usually only do my toes and can't believe how well these polishes hold up even in the summer in the sand, etc. It is so nice to be able to look pretty and do so in a healthy environmentally safe way. LOVE these.

Was a gift
I bought the nail Polish as a gift so I don't know how well she likes it yet, but it was packaged well and I liked the little pamphlet that came with it to explain the product, which I gave to her also. I do wish you would show all of the nail polish colors on the site. It would have been easier for purchase. I choose Tuscany and clear. Tuscany looked like a light purple with pearl in it. I don't know how it will look on though.

Great nail polish!
I bought four of these and am very happy with this purchase. I really love Mocha Latte it is almost the same color as my nails so when there is a chip you really can't see for awhile. The other one that I really like is Oasis, love this color blue! It is my favorite color from Honeybee Gardens. I am very happy with my purchase. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is because the polish doesn't seem to last as long as other polishes so far, although I did not buy the top coat so that might make all the difference.
Amazing, odorless nail polish!!
I love Honey Bee Gardens nail polish! I have used it for several years on my toe nails, and so appreciate the absence of toxic fumes that you normally inhale in regular nail polish. Last month, I tried it on my fingernails for the first time. I used "Wildfire" which is an awesome, screaming-red color, that was just perfect for my 1940's swing dance event. You must put your finger nail polish on the night before and go straight to bed, or else it will chip off terribly the next couple of days. So far, I can only go about 3 days until my nail polish is so chipped on my fingers that I have to re-touch it or take it completely off. I would highly recommend putting a clear coat on top of your finger nail polish, to help prevent the chipping away of the color.

Good Non-toxic nail polish
Lots of beautiful colors, and love the fact that there's basically no smell and no harsh, harmful chemicals. One draw back is they've never lasted very well for me on their own- however, with Scotch Naturals base coat and top coat they do hold up quite well, particularly on my toes.

I've been wearing these for years due, since the early days, and I've always been happy with the way it wears as well as with its safe origin. This summer, I wanted a subtle polish that would not stand out but would make my toes look cared for and just a little glossy. WHISPER is just perfect for that. Classy, clear color. I am very pleased!
Lovely product
I have been using this product for a while and I love it! I usually put it on a day when I am not going to shower or after I have already showered so that it has the longest amount of time to cure before prolonged exposure to water. I just bought the Hippie Chick color and I love it! It is definitely darker than it looks on the site but that is the case with a lot of the colors. It is a little more purpley as well (Desire has more purple in it too I think). Oasis is also darker than it appears on the site.
Even better than I thought it'd be
I LOVE this stuff. I bought the abyss color and it dries beautifully with almost no scent at all and it looks AWESOME. There was no lingering scent either, I didn't even have to crack a window haha. I'll never buy another brand of nail polish again, this is the best natural stuff out there. So glad I found a polish without all the harmful ingredients. This stuff is durable, too, which is totally essential.

Great non-toxic nail polish
I have tried Fairy Dust, Manhattan, and Serenity with the clear base/top nail polish. They are all nice colors.
The nail polish has a mild watercolor paint smell but it does not linger nor stay on the nails like traditional drug store nail polish. Smell is significantly reduced and non-toxic. It's great!
I followed all the directions the nail polish came with and the polish looks great on my nails. Applying 2 thin coats does the trick to get a smooth surface and a full rich color. Also applied before bed time to avoid any damages to the nails. Plus, it dries quickly!
I will be sticking with this product for a while. Very happy with this nail polish and recommend.

Love it does not have solvents nor the nasty odor
I had not used a water base before trying Honeybee Gardens. It does seem to chip when doing a lot of hard handwork. Touching up the tips is easy to do and it still looks good. I have not tried it on my toes. It might stay on longer.
I am going to keep using it especially if I can get it on sale. The water base, variety of colors, and no nasty odor is awesome.

Love that this nail polish isn't full of chemicals and that I don't get a headache when applying because it really doesn't have that terrible smell of regular nail polish. I applied it on Friday and today is Monday - it's chipped pretty badly. This might be to user error - it's the first time I applied it and my nails aren't in the greatest shape, so I going to try again. Love the Vintage Merlot color.

My daughter and I have been looking for a polish we feel safe using. The Honeybee Garden water based polish goes on easily, and it didn't chip. It still looked new after 5 days when I took it off to change colors. Love all the colors we bought.

Even allowing for differences in color monitors, this polish was not at all as described. I just went back to site to read the description so I could note it here, and the color, Hollywood, is no longer listed anywhere. It was supposed to be coral/pinky but in actuality it was closer to fuschia which I do not like. In addition, although it appeared to be going on smoothly, when it dried it appeared wavelike with some color variation.
Despite warnings about needing to remove polish with special remover, it came off easily with regular drugstore remover, which I had on hand. The good news was the fact that it dids not smell like a chemical, the main reason I decided to try it.
HONEYBEE RESPONSE: We never had a color called Hollywood; perhaps you were referring to San Francisco which is a peach/coral? Please contact us if there was a color mix up :-)

Great for Toes & Tots!
This is the only brand of nail polish I buy for myself, my daughter, and family members. If the girls want to have a nail night, this is what I hand them. No noxious fumes and beautiful colors.
That said, I have only ever successfully worn the product on my toes. I put on two light coats and it stays in place for over a month without chipping or peeling. I can't rave enough about how much I love this. However, the product wears off my fingernail tips within 24 hours. I follow the same procedure as with my toes (no oil residue, clean surface, and applied right before bed so it can cure for a good 8-9 hours) and still it dissolves from the tips. So for a one night application/special occasion, I find is all that I can expect from it for me. On the other hand, my daughter does not seem to experience this problem so it may be my personal body chemistry, or I do too much water-related business.
Regardless, I recommend this over everything to anyone.
Best nail polish out there
When I found out how bad most nail polish is for you, I went on the hunt for a safer version. I came up with Honeybee Gardens. I had my doubts thinking they wouldn't cover well or be very difficult to remove. They are beautiful, working just like regular nail polish, without the terrible smell. Removal is easy - it might take a touch more time but it feels better, smells better and uses way less remover. These are worth every penny. I love them!
Rich colors, smooth consistency
I've tried four different brands of water-based nail polish at this point and think Honeybee Gardens is one of the best. The colors are smooth, rich, and saturated and provide good coverage.
Vintage Merlot is my favorite. It's a fantastic complex deep purple, and I consider it a great substitute for OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark.
Definitely follow the tips on application in order to facilitate a low-frustration removal. Rub a little jojoba oil into toenail beds until shine disappears before applying the nail polish, and use a slightly textured cloth (like the inside of an old white gym sock) to ease removal when you're ready to change out the color.
I also bought Wild Fire and can't wait to try it!

I love the nail polish! I ordered Vintage Merlot online. When I got it, I was actually disappointed; the color was not what I expected. But once I applied the polish, I was happy. It goes on easily, the first coat was rich, and it was easy to remove using both the Honeybee remover and rubbing alcohol. I actually recommend the polish remover since it is somewhat oily and moisturizing. Alcohol dried the skin out. It does not smell bad at all. It has a very subtle smell which reminds me of kid's finger paint, which is not bothersome at all. It also dried quickly; I think faster than "regular" polish, which is important since I can't sit still long enough for something to dry! Anyway, I do plan on ordering more colors in the near future! Awesome product!
