I have to admit I did the color testing for fun. The next day I wore a sweater in a color that supposedly wasn't my color and was told it looked great on me. I laughed. I've always thought that the makeup colors I wore determined what clothes colors looked good or not. And I wear a whole range of colors. Maybe it's just me. *shrug It works for me though. :)

Coconut oil has all kinds of uses, I think I saw a website somewhere for 101 uses for count oil, which is quite amazing. I have been using it to make homemade deodorant by combining equal amounts of oil, baking soda, and corn starch, with few drops of tea tree oil or lavender oil ( or other essential oil for scent, but I use tea tree oil for its antibacterial properties) . Supposedly, warming the coconut oil in the microwave negates some of its beneficial properties, but I'm not an expert. Since it has a low melting point, I just place the jar in warm water and it melts fairly quickly. Sometimes I have to use more oil and less baking soda since the baking soda can seem to irritate my skin.

I have tried using it as conditioner but felt it made my hair too greasy, but perhaps my hair is too oily to use this way. I'll try just on the ends.

I also love it as a massage oil, it does require a lot, but I do t mind because it doesn't cost too much and it's natural. Jojoba oil is great, but more expensive. Have also tried almond oil, but it seems to have a "grainy" feel to it to me and doesn't massage well.

I'll have to try the sugar scrub, it sounds awesome. These winter months are killers to my skin as well.

Since I'm not used to make up that doesn't remove with simple soap and water, I wasn't of the mindset to think of what to use as a remover. Where I live, there are few health food stores (we don't have a Whole Foods, etc.). And I don't know of any that carry a liquid eye liner. Yes, I do try non-healthfood store brands. I need to be able to compare my natural brand to products that are not natural.

Sunflower oil! Or olive, or coconut...you get the idea. Gets everything off and much more pleasant to use around your eyes than the tea tree oil :)
