Mascara Tips and Tricks
Okay, we all know how excited I am about the new lip gloss and mascara. These products have been more than two years in the making - hey, I wanted to do it right! So I was all comfy and happy with putting them up on the site, and then a customer called and our conversation had me realize that some people need assistance with putting on their mascara!
This customer told me she can't wear any mascara because it smudges below her eyes almost instantly. I asked if her skin was oily. She said yes, but not excessively oily. Long story short, I came to find out she wears foundation - oil-based foundation! So now she has oily skin over which she is applying more oil. Hello! Anything is going to stick to that and smudge. We talked and I suggested she not apply the oily foundation to the area below her eyes (the powder foundation will do a better job of covering up her undereye circles anyway). Plus the powder foundation will help to control her natural oilyness. If her lashes do happen to touch the skin below the eyes, the powder will also help to continue to "set" the mascara. I'll bet her smudgy problems go away now!

Let me just say I am SUPER excited about ordering my prodcuts today!! I have been put in charge of my company's "green team" and as such have been doing a lot of research in general. Of course, the pet food scare got me going, and now I'm realizing how just about everything we purchase is hazardous to our health! I was so upset to say good bye to my matte lipstick and I did a google search "lipstick WITHOUT parabens" and your site came up! I just ordered some peel-off nail polish and some of the new mascara.:) I had some of your non peel-off stuff before and love the colors. I love that it doesn't stink too.:) I just wanted to try the peel-off stuff because nail polish remover tears up my hands.

My story of Divine Intervention....all the way from Australia! On Tuesday I was on my way to my Yoga class and texted my boss to pick up a rather expensive designer brand of lip gloss duty free. Whilst I was texting, I was recalling an email I received only this week about lead in lipstick...but I requested the purchase anyways. No less than 20 minutes later my beautiful, fabulous Yoga teacher showed me your products (which she had just started stocking). It was more than a sign, it was purely divine intervention! The colour, feel on my lips and most of all the chemical free product/taste was all I needed to cancel my duty free order and purchase your beautiful product. I have been proudly sporting your gloss since and look forward to trying out the rest of your range!
For me, the best part of your water based nail polish is how it lets your nails breathe! My other polishes would make my nails dry and yellow-ish, so I didn't wear them much. Now I can paint away as often as I like! Thanks for making a great product.
